I am rethinking my plans. G and I were reading the newspaper yesterday, and re-agreed that we should leave before the 2010 Soccer World Cup. BEFORE, because we don't want to be caught up in the chaos that it will bring, nor want to get caught in the tide of people leaving once it's all finished.
Which means we'd leave in May or June 2010. Hopefully, if all goes right, G's application will be prioritised because of his nominated occupation (it's a skill that they have a HUGE demand for... so they'd speed up the application process *hopefully*).
If May or June it is, then I doubt my resigning and finishing work end of Feb will give me enough time to prepare everything. Cleaning, packing, fumigating/treating, giving stuff away, throwing stuff away, closing accounts, etc...
EEEEEEK now my mind is all fired up, and I can't research on the internet because *sulks* we aren't allowed to use the internet anymore...............
