Changes

The past week or so has been pretty unstable, to say the least!

I had decided I wanted to jobhunt, and 'my' solicitor quitting is quite a spanner in the works.  And on top of that, having to find a new house is quite a significant burden and stress.  Apart from those two, I'm in the process of doing driving lessons and may well have my test in June, which isn't actually that far off.

A hell of a lot has happened over the past while, since I blogged (properly) last - last year-ish.  Reading my most October blogpost saying that this house was becoming a home, it's so sad to have to find another house because, now that time has passed, the house's mold problem and extreme darkness regardless of time of day or weather has shown up.  Quite hectic how lack of light can have such a detrimental effect on a person's wellbeing, but we're just not feeling very well living here.

Rigi has grown up, he's almost a year old now.  Today we went to a pet supplies warehouse and bought him some new food.  It's crazy expensive buying dog food, but he's so small and the food lasts quite a while so the actual weekly expense is quite low so we buy a luxury brand LOL.  It helps keep him healthy and also he doesn't smell and has decent-enough breath.  Bought him another Kong (this one you open and put in kibble and as they bash it around, the kibble falls out).  He's not yet enamoured with it.  Bought BirdNird some new toys as well because he's SUCH A LITTLE SWEETIE PIE!  Last weekend I replaced one of his dowel-perches with a bottlebrush branch because it's better for their feet and nice for them to bite and chew up, and he does enjoy it.  He hasn't destroyed it yet.

While out petshopping, we popped in at an Indian shop - it smelled so nice entering the shop and I felt instantly as though I was back at the sweetshop we used to frequent when visiting my gran.  Loved it.  I had been holding thumbs that they stocked Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea, and VOILA!  They do!  I'm elated!  I've wanted more of this tea ever since I finished the box I brought home from India (2005).  I also bought some chips (Lays and Kurkure), and we bought some other odds and ends, like butter chicken spice mix, vada mix and sambar powder.  It's going to be interesting trying 'authentic' butter chicken.  It already sounds healthier than the glass-jar version we usually buy in the supermarket, because it asks for pureed fresh tomatoes.   Yumyum.  Tonight, however, it's sushi-night again!  Can't wait... I'm so hungry.  But just look:  KURKURE!!  Tea!  Masala Magic Lay's!!  "American" Style Cream & Onion (love how it's still 'new', I recall it being 'new' when I was there in 2004!)

What the fuck is this?

Ok, this new blogger whatchamacallit?!  Sheesh, how spartan and unintuitive!!  Horrible, really dreadful now.

Apart from that, I just want to ask one thing:

DOES NOBODY READ MORE THAN ONE GODDAMN SENTENCE ANYMORE?!

Holy moly, I just don't know.

People just DO NOT READ EMAILS.  Like, seriously, ask one question at a time, ever.  I just don't know!

Now that I've got that off my chest, the only news here is... well.  I'm pretty damn tired.  Of everything.

This STUPID rental agency... organised an inspection for Sunday.  Never pitched.  'Oh it was a typo, can we come tomorrow?'  Nvm NOT replying to my email requesting stuff be attended to (towel rail broke, kitchen sink mixer coming loose, etc).  And replying to G's email answering only one thing, and listing the house as 'to let' on the real estate website already, despite us not actually giving notice or signing anything.  Because they are retards.  And they really are so utterly incompetent - can't really go into major details here, it's just so dumb it's headdesk-worthy.  Fuck them.  Now we are house-hunting again.  I'm just so damn tired.  There's just no peace ever, is there.  We have... golly gosh, a dog.  Hectic?  Yes.  Because, due to having a dog, our pool of likely places to stay has shrunk immensely.  So, guess what, fellow-lifetravellers, when you get something you want, YOU DON'T JUST GET IT AND THAT'S THAT, there's always some shitty catch... yes, woohoo.  Can't just have a dog and a nice house now, noooooo, that's not possible.  Try again sunshine.

In other stupid news.  The solicitor I was working for (as her admin assistant) has resigned.  After shit at work has come to a head lately, where *I'm* looking for a job already cos I'm so fed up and utterly disinterested, now this happens.  So the law-student chick (currently receptionist) is going to take on her job, and I'll be helping *her*.  Yippee.  She's a bitch and whinges to admin-assistant BITCH gossip slut (can you tell I cannot stand her?) constantly, so I already envision occasions where if I make a mistake, I'll get rubbished to the high heavens to that bitch and then everyone in the entire company will know the entire story, except for my side, obviously.

Problem arises in that I'm looking for a job.  The general manager, who I have as reference on my CV, is on leave for an entire month!  So, if anyone actually phones to check my references, yippee.  Yah, try again sunshine.  I dunno hey... just dunno.  There's just no escape...

This blog post (here comes the justification for blogging, because I'm irritated and crankying in my own blog and subjecting you (poor reader <- this isn't sposed to sound insincere!) to it), is a rant.  I just... have nowhere else to put it.  I have nobody to tell about this, so here it is.  I probably sound incredibly bitchy, because I haven't explained why my colleagues are bitches, but just... yep, can you trust me on this?

Phew

It has been AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGES since I blogged last.  Yowzer!

I did try blog previously, but it's still only a draft.  This blog post is really only a 'hey I'm not dead' post:
