That's all folks!

Strange, strange neighbours...

We were up late on Saturday. We'd been to M's (house-sitting) place for our usual hang out... and we got back close to midnight. I for one wasn't really sleepy yet, so we had a snack and read the newspaper for a while before heading to bed at about 2am. G was brushing his teeth, I was in the bedroom getting my pyjamas, and I heard a bumpthump sound and G muttering through toothpaste foam "what the hell?". Went through to the bathroom and asked him what had happened and he said that someone had banged the bathroom window. I went to the lounge (without turning the light on) and peeped out through the gap between the curtain and the doorframe... and saw a guy on our balcony/porch-wall. He was trying to climb up to the above balcony. He must have been REALLY drunk, cos he kept falling and slipping and crashing to the ground. When I got a better look at him (it was rainy and some of the panes in our window are fuzzy), I saw it was the dumbass from upstairs. He'd obviously locked himself out...

G came to see what was going on because he kept banging against the window: he was pretty persistent in trying to get up there, and he kept falling down on/over/against the balcony/porch wall. We weren't keen on opening the door and suggesting he go through the OTHER entrance (there's a stairwell in the middle of the building, a fire-escape sorta thing) but when G opened our front door the guy disappeared. He came back and carried on trying to climb up, bashing himself quite badly. He got a fancy cut on his forehead for all his efforts.

Eventually another neighbour dude came past and asked 'do you need some help?' and the dumbassupstairs dude said 'I just want my beddddddddddddddd...'. That was his only answer to the guy, regardless of what he asked. So this other neighbour managed to climb up into the upstairs balcony and go through the flat and I presume open the door for the dumbassupstairs dude. Luckily the cow upstairs wasn't in else she might've thought they were being broken into and attacked him!!

What LOONYTOONS! He just KEPT ON trying to climb up, over and over and over and over again.

Weird! And it just shows you how, even though you may not be on ground floor, you're still not safe from being burgled!!
