I was feeling a bit dejected and discouraged this afternoon. I was thinking about our move, and what if there came a point where we'd settled in and then a feeling of "what now?" set in...
And then I realised:
I will be able to stitch until my eyes pop out...
I will be able to read, and play PSP/PC games...
I will have a terrarium, 2 aquariums (marine+freshwater), as well as a budgie cage to set up...
We will at some stage get a puppy...
And even if we already have a house, we will be busy setting up our dream computer set-up (like an integrated AV/PC set up...
And we will have an extensive furniture shopping-list too, as we will have only just moved into our own place...
We will also have a new car (either a shared car or one each?)...
We'll also have a garden that will need looking after (yay plants with flowers, maybe even fruit!)... as well as indoor plants...
And, if I ever do get bored, I can of course put my mind to work and think about something to study. I'd love to study, but I don't know what and don't want to study just for the sake of completing something and getting a certificate (although that is, in itself, satisfying).
So, nothing to worry about. Of course, it does all depend on our financial situation when we move, but that will just dictate how fast we can do all of the above, not WHETHER we can do all of the above!
Yay, now I'm all inspired again!
