News and overexcitement

We met up with the owners of the new place on Saturday... basically went through the place, asked questions, checked stuff out... got the keys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically all day yesterday we moved stuff. We have a few things left in the junkroom to move out... tonight we're gonna start packing things like clothes in the cupboards (except for clothes for tomorrow and Wednesday!)... crockery and cutlery... odds and ends. We have to get packets to put the fish while we transport them. We've got a moving company, they're gonna come at 8:30 to move stuff. We're gonna get up earlier than that though, to evacuate Dude to the new place and then open the washingmachine, microwave and fridge-back to spray the cockroaches. So we will have had to take all the crockery+food+everything out and empty the kitchen before then. G's gonna sand down the kitchen table and paint it either tonight or tomorrow... we're gonna use it as a fishtank table because it's very strong and the shelves below the tabletop can hold the fishfood and equipment and Dude's stuff.

We're gonna have to move the fishtank last on Wednesday... it's gonna be a timeconsuming process. I just hope G'll get the whole day off!

I CAN'T WAIT. The new place is so lovely! I've already staked out a sunnyspot and put a table there ready to stitch! The violet is already by the kitchen window. I've already put a stool in front of the bedroom window to sit and enjoy the view.

We've found lovely barstools to put at the kitchen counter, and also we've got our eyes on a lounge-suite which is both comfy and affordable. It's gonna be SO EXCITING! Wow! I will have to take photos and stuff once we've moved in. It's so quiet. The garden is cute! The yesterday, today & tomorrow plant is in full bloom. There's a jasmine plant... wow!

The wedding arrangments HAHAHAHA it sounds so nuts to type that... it's only November next year but I'm already getting all ideas, which I think is a good idea since time will go so quickly. I've decided on a colour-scheme, have an idea for flowers, got a dress-design in my mind's eye, it's all so exciting and the whole thing is a little daunting because it's such a big thing and lots to organise but I'm sure it'll be a damn fine blast!!!!!!!!!

In other news: DOOSTYD IS OVER!!! Some poor bastard has taken the place! Can't believe it but anyway, at least we NEVER have to do doostyd EVER again!!!!!!!
