ADSL woes

*sigh* it's the 23rd and we've used 90% of our 2nd 1gb (our cap is 1gb but we can up it to 2gb). The sadness that is capped internet.

I got a parcel note in the post earlier - methinks Gem Twist has arrived!

I've made payment for Wintersong & Rugged Painted Lark - they're being posted off tomorrow - YAY!! The LocoRoco umbrella is on its way and should be here soon. Atlantis Bey is due to leave the US shortly. So much excitement!!

The bridesmaids and I are going for dressfitting on Saturday. Can't wait for things to START now... we've basically only got October now...

Saturday morning we're meeting up with G's folks hopefully (that reminds me, I must sms his mom to suggest it) to design the favours. And we need to buy ribbon for the confetti baskets.

Work was very odd today. I got ragged for not making my boss tea because I'm supposed to 'look after him' when the tealady's not at work. The typist took tea and coffee into his office for him and the boss, and I got such 'grief' from him for not making tea, and he was saying (jokingly) that he's thinking of phoning G and telling him that he mustn't expect any tea, that I 'wouldn't give him tea even on his deathbed!'. Thanks hbbm. The simple reason for my not bringing you tea is because I'm not watching the time, waiting for 10:30 to come. Firstly, because ever since I started working at the co 4+ years ago, I NEVER GOT TEATIME. So 10:30 would come and go without it registering (I gave up wanting a teabreak and ended up rushing to the kitchen to make a cup of tea/coffee at random times when the phone was quiet). Even now, 10:30 comes and goes without me noticing because I've been conditioned not to have any 'expectations' associated with 10:30. Also, I'm usualy BUSY with stuff YOU GIVE ME TO DO. So that's actually 2 reasons why I sometimes slip up with making tea for you. So anyway, the typist shared with me the fact that he complains to her and the accountant that I don't make tea for him. Gee, thanks. That's great. Terrific. Thanks.

Also weird today was (haha) the fact that the office area near me and the receptionist is being recarpeted. Haha, because they spent the entire morning laying down THE WRONG CARPET. The smell of the adhesive was horrendous so it was almost comforting to know that our distress wasn't in 'vain' but that there was 'payback'! They took the carpet up and put down the correct ones quickly enough though, and I must say it's looking good. Can't wait for our area to be done because the dark brown old rotten mat that's there at the moment is horrible and deserves to die a painful death... it's really hideous!

Tomorrow is a public holiday. I'm so glad. I want to sleep late and STITCH! We're having sushi for supper so tomorrow night will be 2nd night of sushi (we use half an avo and half a 200g pack of smoked salmon at a time). Yum!

Ok I'm going to go attend to the sushi rice now - that's all for now!
